Science to Business: Nanotronics

"Science to Business" is a new concept modeled on the principle on which Creavis is based – namely the swift development of new business, right down to the production of complete systems solutions for industry customers. All activities and resources ranging from basic research to product development and pilot production are pooled in special centers that not only house the equipment, laboratories and pilot plants for Degussa's strategic development activities, but also serve as a common working environment for collaboration between in-house and external partners.

The first of these centers – the Science to Business Center Nanotronics – is located in Marl, Germany. Managed by Creavis Technologies & Innovation, the new Science to Business Center "Nanotronics" will serve as the focal point of joint development of technology and systems between Degussa and its academic, research and industrial partners for high-value and high-growth future electronics markets, while leveraging Degussa's advanced nanomaterials know-how.
